Lesson Overview
Imagery is a very powerful aspect of web design. I will share some suggestions, tips and tricks to help you pay more attention to imagery choices on your website.
WEBP – is a file format not mentioned in the lesson but worth consideration. It’s a modern image format that provides superior lossless and lossy compression for images on the web with the alpha transparency of PNGs. Consider using WEBP if your website doesn’t need to support older browsers. Squoosh.app is a good tool for compressing and converting images to *.webp.
